ReShape Day: Athens discussed its future as a circular city

Athens, December 13, 2025 - With more than 70 participants, ReShape Day, a circular economy day organized by Athens ReShape at SuiHub Athens, opened a meaningful dialogue on how Athens can be transformed into a more sustainable and circular city.

The event brought together young people, professionals, organizations, and businesses with the common goal of exchanging knowledge, experiences, and practical solutions around the circular economy and sustainable urban development.

The event opened with a presentation of Athens ReShape's vision for a circular Athens by the project’s founding members, followed by a talk on Spatial Planning and Sustainable Development. The event’s first part ended with a panel discussion on "How far away is a circular city from us?"

The afternoon was dedicated to Circular Happenings & Workshops, where participants had the opportunity to learn about solutions and initiatives that apply the principles of the circular economy in practice.
